The music for the NAACP Gala was superior. The music was charged, danceable,
enjoyable and well performed. The instrumentalist and vocals were very
professional. Some left early because there were so many other things going
on. Virginia Union Homecoming dance was down stairs, other reception across
the street at the Hilton, etc; but those of us who stayed really enjoyed the
musical performance especially the James Brown Act. superb! I would
recommend the Klaxton Brown band to anyone.
Thanks for an enjoyable night.
Many blessings to you...

to look, and I will suggest Klaxton Brown to others as well. Keep doing what

live in Atlanta, GA. I was visiting relatives in Richmond last Friday
1/25/08 and was asked to go to dinner at Family Secrets because you can eat
good food and enjoy some live music at the same time. (In today's society,
it's almost impossible to get both) I must admit that I was appeased. The
sound of the harmonic vocals were heavenly awesome. From my understanding,
the young lady (Donna) that performed with you was once with you before. I
say ... KEEP HER! Your rendition of Mustang Sally is really hip because of
the rap. That adds spice but most pleasingly to me was the song "A Change

the hook and definitely the smoothest sound in town. I have heard your band
on a number of occassions and I want to say that the young lady that sings
Sweet Thing really took me back in time. Thank you for introducing Richmond
to Klaxton Brown and your new singer Monique.
I must say that the sound of Klaxton Brown is totally awesome! But I must
also say that your female vocalist, Donna is off the chain. What an
enhancement. I've heard you play at Sandy's and I enjoyed it so much that I
along with some other friends is in the audience just about every Saturday
you guys performed there. I'm from the old school and your music takes me
back there. Therefore, I WANNA SEE HER AGAIN MAN!
I was invited to FS for good food
and good music back in Feb. I did not expect to fall in love with such a
beautiful sound of harmonic voices. I heard one of my favorite songs, "A

anytime. I'll be back!
