The music for the NAACP Gala was superior. The music was charged, danceable,
enjoyable and well performed. The instrumentalist and vocals were very
professional. Some left early because there were so many other things going
on. Virginia Union Homecoming dance was down stairs, other reception across
the street at the Hilton, etc; but those of us who stayed really enjoyed the
musical performance especially the James Brown Act. superb! I would
recommend the Klaxton Brown band to anyone.

entire Klaxton Brown Famly, I want to thank you for your talented
performance at my Family Reunioin, July 25th at the Marriott West. The
family is still talking about how they enjoyed the band. My father stated,
"that you were the best band he has seen perform in his entire
life". That's saying alot coming from my father. Again, thanks for help
making our banquet a special occassion. If I ever need a band I know where
to look, and I will suggest Klaxton Brown to others as well. Keep doing what

I am still in awe over your performance at my wedding reception on August
23, 2008!!! The live music and the vocals were exceptional! Overflowing
champagne, great food, and the best wedding cake I've ever experienced were
the dynamics of our reception. Yet, "Klaxton Brown" stole the
show!
They really added that smooth, classy touch, which left all of my guest in a
state of "shock and awe"! Yes, everyone wanted to know,
"What's the name of that band?” and “How can I get them to be live
entertainment for me?" Not to mention tuxedos and formal evening gowns
were truly the "icing on the cake". This band is certainly
professional... on time, dressed to impress, and knows how to rock the
house!!!
This was truly a most enjoyable and memorable day for my husband and I!

live in Atlanta, GA. I was visiting relatives in Richmond last Friday
1/25/08 and was asked to go to dinner at Family Secrets because you can eat
good food and enjoy some live music at the same time. (In today's society,
it's almost impossible to get both) I must admit that I was appeased. The
sound of the harmonic vocals were heavenly awesome. From my understanding,
the young lady (Donna) that performed with you was once with you before. I
say ... KEEP HER! Your rendition of Mustang Sally is really hip because of
the rap. That adds spice but most pleasingly to me was the song "A Change
Gon Come"
Most people our age (40-60)can relate to music like that. Keep up the good
work. I'll be looking Klaxton Brown up in the near future ... if you're
willing to travel to Georgia. Stay positive and focused and you shall
progress.

first heard you and your music allowed me to just sit and inhale the aroma
of your music. Taking me in time, I was able to sing because I knew the
songs and lord, lord, that horn section just blew me away. Thank you for

and good music back in Feb. I did not expect to fall in love with such a
